Sydney, October 23,
2003 – Max Australia celebrates its first birthday this month. With
four blue chip client wins in the past year, the North Sydney based specialist
PR consultancy is poised for growth.
"There are always a lot of unknowns when you start a new company,"
says Fiona Martin, Account Director at Max Australia. "But the lack
of structure in the beginning can be liberating and allow you to grow
and build your team to match company goals and client wins.
"We’ve had an extremely successful first year in terms of bringing
in new clients and gaining a solid foothold and reputation in the Australian
marketplace. The strategic programs we’ve delivered have delighted
our clients and are a credit to the strong team I have supporting me."
Formed in October 2002 to meet the communications challenges of companies
in the technology sector, Max Australia counts Fuji Xerox Printers, MAXTOR
Corporation, MRO Software and VERITAS Software among its clients.
With 14 years of experience in the IT marketing arena including stints
at Burson-Marstellar and Anite Networks, Fiona Martin has been with Max
Australia since its inception, introducing numerous initiatives that have
seen client satisfaction levels increase beyond an already high mark.
Max Australia is locally owned by principals Naomi Beames and Wendy Docherty,
who together have more than 25 years of leading communication initiatives
for high-profile IT&T clients.
